How to Replace Your Windshield Wipers

Make sure you purchase the entire wiper blade and not just the rubber padding.

Second, following the instructions on the blade packaging, lay out the blades and ensure which is the right and which is the left. If they aren’t marked you can always compare them to the used wipers from your car.

Time to Change Your Wiper Blades
If you can’t see clearly out of your windshield, it’s probably time to replace your wiper blades.

Third, put the existing wiper blades on your car in the “up” position. Consult your owner’s manual if you’re having trouble doing so.

Fourth, take off the used blades from windshield wiper arms. Release the tabs at the top of the blades and slide them off.

Make sure your wiper blades are firmly attached and locked before using them.
Fifth, attach the new blades by snapping them into place. Be sure they are secure and that the arm tabs are in the “down” and “locked” position. Once you feel they are secure, test them out and enjoy traveling confidently come rain or shine.
